Help children learn effectively and thus foster a love of ‘lifelong learning’
Place high value on the talents and gifts of our pupils, looking for opportunities to broaden these further.
Openly celebrate learning in all its many forms and thus help children to gain a sense of pride in their own and other’s achievements.
To be inclusive of all learners and to respect the right of everyone to equal chances.
Strive for high academic standards for all pupils, thus ensuring every child reaches their full potential and has the opportunity to make the maximum progress.
Place equal value on achievements in sporting and creative subjects, thus aiming for the development of a well-rounded individual with many skills to offer.
Provide the climate necessary for each child’s intellectual, physical, emotional, moral, spiritual, social and personal development.
Encourage children to aim high and have high personal expectations in all they do.
Provide opportunities for pupils to confidently try new things and broaden their horizons.
To support children in taking risks and stepping out of their ‘comfort zone’ through increasing their roles and responsibilities and leadership potential.
Strive to be better year on year in all that we do.
Encourage pupils to act responsibly, display initiative and to be considerate, showing respect to others and developing skills and values which promote self-esteem and confidence.
Foster tolerance, kindness, co-operation and respect for others, within the school community and outside in the wider world.
Learn, work and play in a manner that is as eco-friendly as possible and manage our resources sustainably.

Set within beautiful landscaped grounds and with a state of the art, colourful, climate controlled school building, we are rightfully proud of the school that has grown from a brand new building in 2008 to a school with 420 pupils today. Renowned for our community focus, we are very much developing as a school that tries to serve those who come through our doors.
